Purpose/Scope:
Inspects material and product for meeting quality requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Performs all aspects of the pre-pour check, the structural check, the finish check, the jig check, and the testing of material
· Strips the product off the bed and enters tagged or scrapped material into the computer
· Inspects material and product for meeting quality requirements
· Reports quality problems to production personnel and Quality Assurance Manage
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Good analytical and math skills
· Detail-oriented
· Good verbal and written skills
· Ability to read blueprints and/or production drawings.
Must be committed to safety, customer satisfaction, quality and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience performing concrete tests
· Problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
· Must be able to climb up and down from equipment in accordance with safety regulations
Work Environment:
- Plant environment
- Both inside and outside exposure
