Contract Administrator – Savage, MN

Purpose/Scope:
Review and process contracts for all Fabcon manufacturing facilities. Request and secure builders risk insurance, bonds, permits, licenses, when required. Provide clerical support for Contract Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review contract terms with the Project Managers, make revisions, process, distribute, copy and file the contracts
  • Handle insurance, licenses, bonds and miscellaneous office support
  • Make decisions concerning contract requirements
  • Meet contractual deadlines
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent computer skills (Windows 97, Microsoft Word, Access and Outlook, AS400)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of construction industry
  • Understand contractual terms and conditions of standard contract documents
  • Possess a working knowledge of insurance requirements
  • Familiar with other documents such as Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, License or Permit Bonds and Consent of Surety to Final Payment
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours a week

  • Office environment
